The Artist-

Meagan Boyd, born in 1987, is an American artist who sees her work as a sacred yet playful offering to collective spirit. Her work is a ritual that weaves together the essence of painting, mythology, and metaphor- giving life to ethereal stories of poetry and sensuality. Roaming through visionary landscapes, Meagan's paintings are inhabited with celestial and wild creatures, sharing space with vibrant symbols, all brought to life with brushwork that's as intricate as it is untamed, sparking a sense of wonder and enchantment.

Through creative ritual, Meagan aims to capture visions of untamed joy echoing with an often symbolic esoteric resonance. She often reimagines ancient tales, breathing new life into archetypal figures that embody the shared human experience. These personal mythologies depict cosmic encapsulations of universal knowledge – holding up a mirror, inviting viewers to ponder their own stories.

With a background in Fine Art, Meagan brings an element of magick to collaborative projects. She has contributed her art and vision to fashion collections, album art, and has done illustration work for several brands globally.

Meagan's art is featured in Taschen's encyclopedic series, the Library of Esoterica in the volumes: Astrology, Witchcraft, Plant Magick and the upcoming Sacred Sites. She has also been featured in Vogue, Bust, Paulette, Disfunkshion, Vice's Creator's Project, Hi-Fructose, and LA Weekly.
